Invalid License Error 0xC1

I can't get DA: Inquisition to launch. I keep getting an error code about MSVCP110.dll being missing. I've tried reinstalling the game and Origin multiple times, as well as trying to repair/reinstall the Visual C++ files. Does anyone have any advice for fixing this? Restarting Origin and my PC didn't work either.

That is a Windows System File that System File Checker can possibly fix.

Run System File Checker to ensure the integrity of Windows system files: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

Have you run the three vcredist_x64.exe files from the following location?

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dragon Age Inquisition\__Installer\vc\

    Hi Barry, thanks for responding.

I've run all three vcredist_x64 files and System File Checker. The x64 files didn't help the problem, and File Checker didn't find any issues.

I just tried reinstalling those files and it hasn't helped. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I have been checking other games and programs and so far this is the only one that isn't working properly if that matters at all.

I should add that Dragon Age: Inquisition was my only Origin game, so I downloaded Crusader: No Remorse for free and it works perfectly.

  • My dearest friend, I suffered a the same issue! The solution I found was to go to http://www.microsoft.com/net
and download their installer for .net framework 4.51 and repair my installation. After the repair it prompted me to restart and then after my restart my game worked! Wishing you the best! I too have been at this since 9pm pst, with a few hours to sleep.

Thanks for the suggestion, sadly it didn't work for me. I think I might wake up early tomorrow and try reinstalling Windows. I've tried everything else I can think of.
