Yeah, I don't really want to do that, I am pretty sure this game just doesn't work with the latest PhysX version, I dont care though, I just downloaded Dragon Age Inquisition. Its better anyway.

The PhysX software for "Dragon Age: Origins" is in the ">drive<:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dragon Age Origins\redist" folder.
But the game will also run with the newest NVIDIA PhysX software. If it doesn't run you should follow @EA_Kristi advice, because then the PhysX software isn't properly installed.

hi i have the same message .
i am using a AMD RX580 winpro 10. how do i fix this ?

You need to either install PhysX from the game folder, (in my post directly above yours.) or from NVIDIA directly.
The game needs PhysX to be installed to run, regardless of the GPU manufacturer.

This worked all I had to do was download the driver and i can play now
