Iron Bull Romance Bug (SPOILERS!) - PC
Hello! My husband and I are playing the game together, he on his Xbox 360 and myself on my PC. We both romanced Iron Bull but he got a last scene that I did not get myself. Here is the relevant information. Please beware of spoilers. If you haven't yet ridden the bull and don't want to know what happens don't read!
-100+ hours into game. Dwarven rogue inquisitor.
-All companions but Vivienne and Sera are at 100% approval (At least I think so. They don't get gains in conversations or when defeating their hated factions anymore.)
-All companion quests finished for each character (I'm 99% sure of that)
-No new dialogue options with any companion or advisor.
-Completed Iron Bull's loyalty quest and chose for him to become tal vashoth.
-Full approval with Iron bull (I believe so. Killing high dragons and tevinters no longer grants approval so I assume he's maxed)
-Completed all story missions up to "What pride hath wrought." Have not started that one yet.
-Gave him the dragon tooth necklace and got the amusing scene for it. Committed to him.
-Have no romantic ties to any other character (Note on this one: I did notice that Sera said "us cookies" to my inquisitor instead of "Inquisition cookies". Is that a sign that she thinks she's romanced? There's no option to break anything off with her and I don't believe I flirted with her either.)
-All chargers missions completed.
-5 High dragons killed thus far
-All non-fetch quest missions accomplished in each area except the hissing wastes.
When I speak with Bull I get the options for "Goodbye" and "I'd like to talk about us". Under the second option I get "Kiss him", "End relationship", and "Nevermind."
When speaking to me he either says "Kadan" or "What can I do for you Kadan?" When I ask to talk about us he says "Sure boss, what do you need?" or something like that.
I'm pretty stuck here. I'm a little further than my husband and he already got the last scene but I have not yet and Bull's card is still on his tal vashoth one. I also haven't received the achievement for completing the romance.
Any suggestions? I tried kicking Sera out of the inquisition but that didn't work so I reloaded the save before that because I rather like her and don't want her gone.
Okay! So, we decided (read: desparately hoped) it was tied to the fact that we had not yet done the next big plot thingie. So, we worked through some of our side quests and then went ahead and did "What Pride Hath Wrought" (which is a later game quest, and we think unlocked our final quest, but is--itself--not the end) and that opened up the "spend some time together" option after we got back!
