Is it possible to select all party members at once during battle or ever?

Apologies if this is in the wrong section because I could not determine if this is technical or a walkthrough issue. Essentially I am asking about a tactical function that I need as a workaround for ...

In the tactical mode, when I click on any of the commands on the bottom right, "hold position" "disengage" etc OR use my key board binding for attack my target, it selects all party members for that command.
I usually move the toons to one spot, go to the tactical mode, click on "hold position" then take over the toon I want to move or attack with. Ensure in behavior you have the three you want to stand still as guarding each other, because if they are defending or following the selected toon, the hold position wont last longer than one round. One needs to move them as a group to stop the dragon breathing on them all at once as they stand there like sitting ducks. It's not really an alternative to stand them in a group to ensure they are sitting ducks. And a lot of hassle to be controlling them individually for such a simple task.
