Itemts not appearing.

@ARTE2010I dont' think a reinstall would help at all. If I remember correctly there's a (terrifying) spider cave hidden in the Oasis, which should be good for the various spider parts. 

As for the other stuff, it's been a while, but you may have to find the items out in the world. The unofficial fan wiki is my personal choice for checking things like this. For example it lists the Decorative Gems as mostly falling from templars in the Hinterlands, as well as during a specific quest in the Exalted Plains.

Hi David ... thanks for the reply.  The re-install didn't work for the items but Par'as did re-appear.  I say "re-appear" as the 1st time I played I the game I made it to the Oasis, but then had a problem with an update dowloaded from the Origin site (earlier Help requests), and wound up starting the game again.  The first time I played all items were found as expected (although only 3 Ferelden Locks) from the the correct characters / creatures.  But playing a second time, the items mentioned no longer were present.  Same after the re-install.  Thus, this appears to be a bug with the game (reading the Forum the same gems problems happened to others when playing a second time) but might also be a problem with the game on my computer.  Definitely not a game-killer, but still frustrating.  Thus, I likely will uninstall both the game and Origin from my computer and then re-instlal to see what happens.

If you ever wish to do a reinstall when you suspect local file damage, you can perform a repair instead. It'll scan the game files and check against known good values, and download/replace any problematic files. You might want to try that instead, it should save some time/data. 

You can get the option to do this by right-clicking the game panel in Origin.
