[Keep] Achievements and Saves Not Being Recognized

I have trouble with the Keep. I finally want to play Dragon Age: Inquisition, but there are problems.

1. Dragon Age: Origins doesn't recognize any achievements nor can I login with EA account (it says I am not connected to the internet, which is obviously false).

2. Dragon Age Keep doesn't can't find Dragon Age: Origins files or Dragon Age 2 (they are in C:\Users\user\Documents\BioWare)

I have installed and launched both games to make sure they have selected "Upload Character Profile" in their options. And Dragon Age Keep still doesn't recognize new saves and Dragon Age: Origins achievements. I looked for solutions on the internet, but found only someone on Reddit forum describing the same issues, but with no solutions. Any help? I would really want to import my world state BEFORE I start Dragon Age: Inquisition.

The Keep never read DAO or DA2 saves, all that was uploaded (before the DAO servers went down) were screenshots and character name.

The keep is a tool designed to manually create a world state after your decision in DAO and DA2, to import into DAi because there is no save game import in DAi.

So it is as @mcsupersport said, you need to create your Worldstate by hand.

  • Best thing for the Keep is to simply create your decisions on the keep directly in a tapestry.  Start with creating a character named the same, and use the tapestry to choose the details of your play on the tapestry to get the story right.

I have heard that some people get it to upload, but it is hit or miss at best, since the keep was built well after both games were made, AND the original game worked with a now defunct website.

So I personally wouldn't try and fight it to get the keep to accept an upload and spend that time customizing the tapestry with your choices.

I see. I did manual world save. Wish it could simply scan files as from what I can tell that's what it did at one point, but I got to admit at least it is easy to create it manually world state. Thanks!
