Load or quickload no longer spawns in same location save was made (PC)

Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue. I finally took the chance and applied patch 2 after backing up my installation. So far so good, but I've found that whenever I quickload now, I will usually be in a different location from where I was when I saved. It will be within about a 10 second walk of where I saved, but it will sometimes load in the middle of a bunch of enemies or on a cliff, although it will almost always load in the same spot each time (once in a while it loads where I actually quicksaved, maybe one in 8 times). After some testing, I found that when I do a full save and full load, it will load in the proper place one time. But if I do a full load again it will load in the predertermined spot it chooses, like an autosave or checkpoint. Same thing with quicksaving/loading. I tested online vs offline - I tried restarting the game with origin in offline mode and without logging in to the dragon age servers, and the problem persisted for quicksave/load.

Further, if I quicksaved after a full load or full save (still offline), then quickload would always load to the position of the full load/save, if I didn't move to far before quicksaving. If I moved then it would load once where I quicksaved, but the 2nd quickload would load me back where the full load/save occured. So the workaround I determined is full save, full load then quicksave (as long as the full load loads where you want to quick save. If not load again). The workaround can be used to set an anchor point, and works in offline or online mode. Hopefully this will continue to work reliably.

Note I have cloud storage turned off.

I doubt there is a fix for this and I will have to live with it, but I just wanted to report it and see if others are having the same issue.
