Look up how gaming Self-Help forums are intended to work. Ignore any lazy, slothful, and unhelpful Game Adviser attempts to brush you off, this is the weekend, and the CMs aren't here. They are the only EA folks who visit, and there is only a handfull of them. They are not "substitute" tech support personnel. They are our peacekeepers, and even when they are here, there is more message traffic than they plus the volunteers, can hope to read. Tons of questions with vague subject lines will never be read.
If I cannot tell immediately whether a given thread is about PC system configuration problems, I pass right on by without looking at it. In the old days of Bioware, we did know that the developers sent someone to look at Bioware's Self-Help forums, and we would eventually, occasionally get word from the equivalent of their Community Managers, that this or that serious problem was in fact part of a coming patch.
I've seen nothing of rthat nature here since this place replaced all the old Self Help places, other than the Bioware MMO about Strar Wars, and a very few other similar places.
