First make sure you are logged into your PC as Administrator. Now go to your games installation folder and right click it then select properties. Make sure the folder is NOT set to read only. If this does not work then the only other thing I can sugest is to uninstall then re-install in a different location. For example my PC has 2 harddrives installed and I install the majority of my games on the HD the doesn't have my OS installed on it(by default most people have their OS installed on Drive C so I install the game on drive D) Hope this helps you. As for the freezing I found it is mostly due to the game trying to connect to the server and setting Origin to offline mode then playing the game also offline makes it much less likely to freeze though I am still having trouble with low FPS.
