Missing horse

In he quest in the saddle somehow the only mountable horse disappeared and I can't fin this quest any suggestions

    Had this same problem. Go to the area where the horse was, bring up your hot bar and summon horse. In the circle hot bar it is the bottom action. Your character will whistle and your horse will show up.

    How do you whistle for the horse in PS3?  I had the same thing happen - horse disappeared.

    Thanx! I have only been playing this game for a couple hours and would have never figured that out on my own. Horse came right back after summoned.
