Mouse form not working in burning tower

I am at the burning tower, the part where you are in an outdoor area filled with fire walls; the only way to go is to use mouse form to enter a mouse hole. Thing is, the mouse hole doesn't work, so I'm stuck. My first playthrough, everything went fine. Now this **bleep**.
