Multiplayer hacks?

Bought DA:I a couple of days ago, decided to try out the Multiplayer today. Got joined to a game in Quick Match. The odd thing was playing my Sword and Board character when I held up my Shield block My character got a MASSIVE amount of movement speed. At first I thought I may have been lagging and just rubber banding but it only seemed to happen when I blocked.

My question, is there hacks in DA:I and if I unwittingly join a Match that has something like this Enabled will I get banned even though it wasn't my Match?  Kind of Worried since the Host left and I become Host and am unsure if it continued on with the Block speed since I left immediately.
