Had the same problem here, but the way it started was different from what others are saying. I had changed my throne from Andrastian Chantry to Fereldan to see if it looked cool during judgements, but was disappointed. I finished the judgement (Samson), reloaded a save I made right before, and changed the throne back to Andrastian Chantry. That's when the problem started, and to fix it I had to reboot the game as well as Origin (this usually fixes any bugs I come across)
After the game/Origin reboot it loaded up in less than 5 seconds after clicking the throne. Hope this helps
