Nothing special to do. If you have more than one hard drive, you might want to set that in options before downloading.

  • I also am moving to a new computer. I know the game will download but I think the character data for the Inquisitor is stored on my computer, not Origin. I have five Inquisitor avatars that I want to make sure get moved to the new computer. Aren't there files or directories that have to be moved to make this happen? In prior BioWare games (DAO, DAii, ME2, ME3) character data was always stored on my computer. It is just the game software that was managed by Origin. Has this changed with Dragon Age: Inquisition?

I have not actually tried what you're asking.

All the game saves are stored in the 'Documents>BioWare>DragonAgeInquisiton>Save' folder.

Hopefully copying this folder over to your new computer will do the trick.

Just make sure you have enuf ram and processor speed and vdeo card to run it.............go to "Can You Run It" (systemrequirementslab.com/cyri) and see if you can run it. I have Cyberpower Fang laptop with 16Gb ram, 2.80 Ghz processor and NVIDIA GT870 6Gb video card and haven't had any performance issues at all.

It is an Aloenware Area 51 desktop and has an Intel Core i7-5820k processor (6 cores) and 16Gb RAM, and a dual NVIDIA GTX 770 with 4 GB (2x2GB) video memory. It should be plenty to run the game. But thanks for pointing that out..
