New Game Goes to Infinite Loading Screen
I just bought DAO on PC from Origin after playing it for years on my Xbox. The only problem I'm having now is that when I go to start a new game it gets stuck on an infinite loading screen. I've reserach different ways of trying to fix this. The only way to shut down the game is to restart my computer.
I've attempted:
- Changing the amount of cores the game uses down from 8 to 1, and I've tried it with 2 cores and 3 cores.
- Changing the compatibility that the game runs on to Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP 2, and Windows XP 3.
- I've uninstalled and reinstalled.
- I've tried the LAA Patch.
- I've lowered the amount of memory my computer uses.
- I've sent an email to EA support to see if anything comes of it.
EDIT: My system stats:
- Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10300H CPU @ 2.50GHz 2.50 GHz
- Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 1680
- 8 GB RAM
- 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
I've attached a dxdiag report file.
Is there some other way to fix this? I'll try anything at this point. I've tried starting the game maybe ten times now?

EDIT: It's actually a mod, I thought I went through them all but I just did it again and this time it worked.
