Pillars of Ethernity is out. I am swithing and probably not coming back. I get to uninstall Origin and thats a bounus all by itself.
Note, they didn't even fix the exploit, they just removed the item from the registry. (See the mod that used to pre-patch 6 restore the Amulets of Power). The exploit still works fine.
Why it even needed fixing is beyond me. It is a single player game fix the bugs (and ACTUALLY FIX THEM) before worrying about exploits that have no affect on game play anyways since all it does is allow for more varied play per toon.
I play on Xbox one and I confirm that the amulets that were supposed to be dropped by dragons are gone (I killed the one in the Approach and was surprised not to see one. I thought maybe I did not remember correctly so I went to kill to the one in Crestwood -which, I remember perfectly, is supposed to drop one for Bull- and I got no amulet either. I could not check the chest behind the final door in the oasis yet, but I just wanted to post to confirm the existence of a problem on Xbox one as well.
