No Dialogue Sound in Dragon Age Inquisition

What language version of the game did you buy? If you open the My Games panel in Origin and scroll down, do you have the option to grab the free English Voiceover DLC pack?

I instnalled it, says "Installed" right underneath the Weapons Package (which also says installed). 

Still nothing from Dialogue and no options to enable it or turn it off.

Repairing the game for the 5th time and seeing if it will work.

After making sure the voice over was installed, and repairing the game multiple times and playing the game from the Voice Over DLC option, I am still not able to heal dialoge. 

I have no idea what else to do besides the "hopefully avoidable" reinstallation of the game.

Anymore possible solutions?

Can you try restarting your machine with a Clean Boot then start Origin as an admin, then try another repair? Also check your anti-virus exceptions.

Perhaps something on your machine doesn't like the VO files and is hampering their installation. 

I think I'm having this same issue. The voiceover is there, but it's extremely quiet, as if it's playing from an audio channel that is not enabled. It sounds fine on my speakers, but when I plug in my Steelseries Siberia headphones, the dialogue is almost inaudible. I've tried restarting, selecting Headphone mode in the Audio menu, and plugging the headphones directly into my sound card instead of running them through the speakers.

It seems to be a device compatibility issue, not a lack of VO files installed. These headphones work fine on all of my other games.

Excellent, thank you for the update asatj. I'll remember this for any times something like this comes up again. 

Can someone from EA comment on whether or not 5.1 audio should actually work though? Seems a little 1990's to have to play a game in stereo audio.
