This is clearly a result of a bug. Can someone point me in the direction of actually raising a ticket as this forum seems to be the only option I've found and doesn't seem to be healping?
The Solas romance is not entered into lightly. You have a total of three cutscenes with him, yes three. If you have seen the one in Haven, and the balcony scene that lets you start the romance officially then you have all of one left, and only after the Temple of Mythal. There is one after the Ball, but everyone gets that who is in a romance.
Anyone who romanced Fenris knows how long the character had to wait for him to come around. These male elf romances seem to test the patience it appears. Solas was the last romance added to DAI and it is definitely stripped down. There are no walks on the battlements together, cuddle time, or hand holding options outside of the above mentioned scenes. While the few scenes provided are powerful you will not be getting the amount of cutscenes like you do with Iron Bull, Sera, Cullen, etc.
I am rather disappointed in the romance, not because of the outcome, but how stripped down it feels. I can only hope a Solas DLC is in the future for those who romanced him. If you have the patience to see how the romance pans out after the final battle then stick with it. Otherwise if you are not happy after Mythal during his last cutscene, you can play the scene through, not save, and play it again and end the relationship there so you can move on to someone else.
