"Not Backwards Compatible"

Hey!

New to the forums, long time Dragon Age fan.

I just started having a strange issue with my copy of Dragon Age: Origins tonight.

DAO is shown on the Microsoft list of games that are backwards compatible still (I just checked), and I had no issue running my copy of the game two evenings ago from my Xbox One, and two evenings before that. The disc is practically new; no surface scratches, scuffs of gunk marks. My Xbox has no issue reading other games, I tested both Xbox One and other backwards compatible games, and both started up fine. I just kept getting a notification of "Can't play here; look up Microsoft backwards compatible games".

Anyone else getting this problem right now? Or better yet- know how to fix it?

Like I said, the game was running perfectly smooth two nights ago! Definitely was fine with the backwards compatibility then, so I don't know what would have changed now. ):

    Hey @Kersoto

As far as I know Dragon Age: Origins should still be backwards compatible on Xbox One. Have you tried shutting down and power cycling your Xbox to see if that helps at all?

Let me know if you're still having trouble starting up the game after that.
