NPC dialog bug

Hi all. I have recently encountered a bug where a number of NPCs won't talk to me when I click them, such as Bodahn the dwarf merchant in the party camp and the bartender in the Gnawed Noble Tavern,...

@ThandalNLyman A quick search of this forum brings up people reporting this issue as does a fast google search. It's always best to check these things out before stating that others have not reported it.

@cosades27 Were you able to get anywhere in fixing this?

I am going to try uninstalling the game and re-installing after backing up my saves, see if that works.

      I have tried repairing the game in Origin and re-installing the game but that has had no effect. The issue is not with just one character but all characters I have saves for.
