I entirely agree. Asus won't provide any support on this issue since they don't update their drivers. I assme that EA will either say they're looking into it with a vague details or simply offload all responsibility to Nvidia, who in return will probably refer us to EA.... I don't know if this issue will be resolved as the bulk of their customers are using desktop hardware - in other words we aren't a priority.
Maybe we should start a big post ,such as this one, in the Nvidia forums, to see if that helps...

Edit: removed previous URL with petition, perhaps a more productive approach is to keep te focus on the the forums so as not to scatter the issue in many places.
