Greetings!
After some digging I discovered a solution via a third party app called Borderless Gaming. It's basically a background app that allows virtually any app to go fullscreen. It does end up fixing the problem as I'm no longer getting terrible v-sync issues and the performance has gone up. Best part is you can assign DA as your favorite so every time you run it will automatically go fullscreen provided you have the app running in the background and fullscreen switched on in the display options.
It's by no means an official solution but seeing as how both EA and Nvidia seem to have failed coming up with a quick solution this at least brings us closer to heaven so to speak. Enjoy!

How do I use this? Do I want to run the game in windowed fullscreen or windowed bordered?
Also, thank you for finding this 🙂
