I tried the Borderless Gaming solution and using this software i can run in full screen mode. However i didnt see any significant performance gains. The DA:I benchmark test went from 49.7 FPS to 50.7 FPS.
Im not sure however what kind of gains that are to be expected, maybe 1-2 % is what should be expected? Would be nice if someone running the game on a non-laptop could check what the difference between windowed and regular full screen is in terms of benchmark FPS?

I don't see any reason to be complaining if you're running at 40+ fps already. This isn't a first person shooter, so you won't benefit as much from a framerate higher than what you already have.

No reason to complain? I dont agree.
I think its perfectly reasonable to expect the game to function as announced. Also if the performance in normal fullscreen would improve a lot i could run the game on high graphics setting which would be nice but is not possible at the moment. The numbers i stated are with Normal graphics setting.
I think my question is valid though, cause i havent seen anyone whos game is working in both windowed fullscreen and fullscreen to show results on performance differences between the modes.
