well guys first of all let me tell you that when i tried the windowed full screen , it didn't really became a full screen as you guys are saying. a bar on the top kept showing up and i couldn't hide it. when i used my "fix" the game started to work on full screen and the resolution from the game settings was 1920x1080

anyway the game is working fine with me and here's a pic of the settings
