This message is from Kevin (Intel) and has been posted today:
"I have checked with development and they are working on a new driver that will contain a fix for this but the current BETA driver does not fix this. I am sorry for the inconvenience but soon we will have a driver."
After 7 months maybe we are really close to the solution?
this is the biggest bull* i have ever heard :-) every other game manages to run in fullscreen on notebooks only inquisition have this problem
- 10 years agoWell, good for you.
My experience is not so lucky.
I was running most of my games full screen (except DA:I of course). With the latest Intel driver I have the same issue on Bioshock Infinite.
Other games (I.e. Watch Dogs) start windowed despite the settings, then I'm able to force full screen after several attempts.
Please note that I started from a fresh install (OS + drivers).
Look for 'full screen' and Optimus in Google and you will find other cases.... - Anonymous10 years ago
Maybe im in the wrong place. but my problem is that if i run the game in full screen or any thing close to that size and go into a menu . i.e inventory i get a black screen which i can get out of if i hit esc and back out . i have r9 290 asus video card and intel i5 4670k @ 3.4 quad core cpu and everything is running off my Samsung evo . is this really related to my processor and not my video card ?
please help
** i am really disappointed in all the parties that produced the game its * like this that is ruining the industry and makes me not want to buy any more games period . there is always some mofo thing these days. ***

Hello xX1RICK1Xx, this is the wrong thread. Here we talk about the impossibility to get the full screen on Nvidia systems (more specifically Optimus laptops).
I suggest you to open a new thread.
