I ignore if this problem is still going or if this idea has been suggested, but I literally just had this problem and I have a laptop, and here's how I fixed it.
I selected 'Windowed Fullscreen' in the Graphics Settings.
Voilà. That's all I did.
I ignore if it'll work for others, but it's worth a try!!
This is NOT a true fullscreen: with "Windowed Fullscreen" mode you have the aspect of full screen but over a fully working desktp environment, with a massive drop of fps
Could somebody with the appropriate permissions modify the first post stating that the issue has been solved in Windows 10 ?
Yup.
I'll get on that, and can confirm, that the problem is fixed in Windows 10.
And for anyone else: There's never going to be another solution. This is it. EA Games and Bioware don't care about this problem, they're not going to fix it, and no turning it into windowed fullscreen is not the solution.
I'm not going to accept the Windows 10 upgrade as the solution (even though it is the solution) so that others who are not going to upgrade to Windows 10 can continue to try and suggest fixes. (Not that it is going to be anything other than the same "geniuses" coming in here and suggesting windowed fullscreen. Where's the "dislike" button when you need it?)
That being said my issue is solved (Thanks Microsoft!) and so I will not be contributing to this thread anymore.
