I was able to create a custom world state on 7/14 and export it to DA:I successfully; but since then I've tried logging back into the keep to ensure all my information was correct but I keep getting the "oops an error has occurred" pop up. No matter how many times I refresh the page, clear my history, or try logging in through a different browser or device it still pops up with "oops an error has occurred".
Is the server overloaded or is the server crashing?
I've read that the keep is going to be used for Dreadwolf... if that is the case then the server needs better functionality so that it doesn't crash all the time. Direct imports would have been better anyway.
Anyway, when will the server be back up and running properly?

Yeah, I just started having this error issue when logging in to create a new world state today, too. It was all fine and good up until today, then I noticed my golden nug was gone from its podium ingame, and that clued me in.
Waiting for an update. 😞

You might be onto something. If the DA series switched to reading game save data the way ME does, we wouldn't have this issue, or at least we wouldn't have to rely on the reflexes of EA's Support to try to comfort us while the issue impacts our gaming experience. Seems like a decent update idea, but with no one putting money into this game anymore, I doubt anyone's going to address it.
I suppose EA doesn't really care about their reputation, given that this has broken several times over the past few years. Short sighted responses to things like "I'm not making money off it, so I won't fix it" tends to lead to "EA doesn't maintain the reliability for the games they put, let's get addicted to something else" when players choose a new game to buy into. What's a real shame is two of my favorite games, both by BioWare, are now owned by this company that has owned them since I've started experiencing issues with them. That's a strangely coincidental correlation. - 2 years ago
Come on EA.... this crash on Dragon Age Keep has been interrupting gameplay for 3 (THREE) days, be professional and fix the problem.
Your company wants to use the Keep for DA:Dreadwolf then you need to fix bugs and problems now versus the site crashing when the game comes out.
You're losing accountability and reliability by not updating your loyal consumers, and losing respect by not fixing issues.
Provide an updated import/export system which doesn't lose its s.h.i.t every few months, or days at the this point.

So is Keep dead or just down at the moment?

Temporary downtime. Hopefully it won't take too long.

Just as everyone else, if I'm lucky I'm able to log in and arrive at the the proceed page. When I proceed into the keep then the "oops" error pops up.
Honestly it will keep me logged in for hours and then suddenly I'll be signed out, allowed to sign back in and proceed through profile verification before the system hits me with the refresh and retry suggestion- which is doing nothing.
I've tried logging in via my spouse's phone, I've used an incognito tab on my phone, cleared my search history on my phone and then tried logging in, I downloaded Google to try through there, and I've logged in through Microsoft Edge on my console- all of that still brings up "oops, there was an error".
At this point I'm not as concerned about starting a second character with my custom world build as I'm frustrated in general and for everyone else that this "simple" problem has not been resolved.
