[Old Report] Freezing at Underground Passage for the quest Repentance

When I was doing the Sabastian Vael quest called "Repentance" at the Underground Passage tight before the boss fight it freezes at the loading screen?

Oddly, pressing escape got me past this lock up at "loading..."

Just got the game for pc cause don't have my xbox anymore and glad I found this thread cause it Kept freezing here for me and I was getting frustrated but hitting ESC did work thank you for putting this in here.
