[Old Report] Stop EA achievements from showing up on a Steam Game

I bought Dragon Age: Inquisition on Origin, and I played it for a while and got 17 achievements from EA.

Then I bought Dragon Age Inquisition on Steam, because it FINALLY came to Steam, and I wanted a fresh start meaning now I can EARN all of the Steam Achievements.
However, when I start Dragon Age Inquisition on Steam, I automatically get the 17 achievements I already earned from EA, and I don't WANT them, I want to start over fresh with my Steam install.

I've removed all the Dragon Age Inquisition saves, but I still keep getting those 17 achievements that I don't want, and it completely spoils the fun of starting over.

How can I stop the EA achievements from spilling over to Steam, this ruins everything

    @SlamHammer What if you play offline, with the EA launcher shut down, and don't allow ethernet connection with Steam?

    Well one thing I noticed today, is that My Old Save Games (After I zip them up and move them out of the SAVES folder), keep coming back!

    How do I permanently delete my saves?

    I'm guessing it's some EA CLoud SYnc feature that keeps restoring them against my will, but I can't see anywhere to shut off cloud saves

    I have cloud saves turned off in Steam, but can't find out how to stop EA from Restoring them

    Looks like you're right. I have to keep the APP offline

    @SlamHammer With Steam Achievements like that, you cannot undo or turn it off. Even in Steams offline mode the moment it connects and syncs you would get the achievements. The only way to start over and earn them again would be a new account to play through.

    @SlamHammer As for the saves, you have to manually turn off the cloud in Steam and save them locally. You can also just delete them from the save folder on your PC to wherever you have them saved. More info on how to delete them here.

    God bless person who implemented auto transfer achievments from EA to Steam. Because i dont want to complete them again and I see no reason. Atleast i happy about Star Wars Battlefront 2 (DICE)
