(Old Report) Xbox Dragon Age Servers Won't Load & Force Close Game

@zstackk Follow-up, so I figured out a way to make it work, don't know if it'll work for you, but this is what I did on my Xbox One X (since it does not have quick resume like the Series X. App switching worked on my Series X). I used the public DNS server called Alternate DNS: 76.76.19.19 / 76.223.122.150 and for port selection I chose 51486. Make sure to test your NAT type to see that it's open. Try opening the game. If that doesn't work, restart console and try again. Another option is when you open the game, when you see the loading icon, switch apps. There is no quick resume, but for some reason doing this sometimes made it work. My final suggestion is to set your network to offline, make it to the start menu, load your game, and then set your network to online. If you want to start a new game to add your custom world state, set your network to online on the menu page with all the options and then try to login to DA servers (oh, and if you keep getting the connection error message, keep trying to connect). You may have to do these steps a couple of times and alternate with these suggestions. Good luck, if you're still wanting to play.
Edit: One more method for Series X, especially if quick resuming isn't working for you. When you start the game offline, an obnoxious message pops up saying game needs to be online and it'll kick you out of the game, but it's still resuming when you continually click into it. You only need to make it past the Bioware logo and then set your console to online again. If it crashes after hitting the start button to load main menu, try a couple more times. If that fails, start offline until you make it past start screen or load an old game. For new games, keep trying to load DA servers when you're online on menu.
Sucks that we have to do all this to play a game we bought, but it is what it is. Not sure why I couldn't play again after beating the game. Nothing changed on my end since the last time I played.
Edit: November 24th, 2024: Figured out a new, temporary solution. If you have another profile signed in at the same time as your main profile on Xbox, your game should load with no issues, online and logged into DA server. Dunno if this matters, but if that's not enough, have that 2nd account load the game and have it logged into the Dragon Age servers with, obviously, the email associated to that account.

For real. Makes no sense that I can't play the game out of the blue. Granted, I already beat the game, but I paid full price and can't replay without being offline, which defeats the purpose since I can't use Dragon Keep to have game reflect what I've done in Origins and DA2.
