And whats REALLY wierd is that if i set the affinity in task mangaer to high, it gets worse and sometimes crashes.
its already using 100% and then when set to high it overloads and stutters completely... its like its using 100% for nothing and thats whats making it stutter..
Ive also noticed when playing after patch 2 without the injector the menu lags badly until you get in game where you have this half smooth half stutter gamplay.. and if you use the [Using third party game files is against our Terms of Service - Admin.]
In the forums someone Mentioned a nvidia driver hotfix http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3607/~/geforce-hotfix-driver-344.80. i gave it a try, exxpecting nothing, but it works like a charm. Stuttering is completly gone.

Tried it. Along with the other workarounds BW suggested regarding the issues Patch 2 introduced. My CPU usage is still at 100% all the time, which as I suspect is the reason for the serious lag and performance issues.

Have you checked your temps to see if your cpu is throttling back, that could be why your cpu is at 100%. Try running HWmonitor during the game.

Well, it made it better for me, but the game is still unplayable. Freezes are shorter but still just as frequent (every 2-5 seconds) for anywhere from 2-8 seconds at a time. Using a GTX 980.

Exact same with me. It's a little better but it's still freezing regularly during movement and conversations are painful, with audio ahead of video. I combined the Nvidia driver hotfix (also using 980) with the BW shader fix and changed to windowed view. In all, the stuttering is ruining my experience so I'm just going to leave it until I hear the issue has been fixed. To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement.

I tried the driver and -GameTime.MaxSimFps 60 -GameTime.ForceSimRate 60+ in properties. Nothing made a difference. If I set the process to high priority, it doesn't seem to pause as much, but everything is in slow motion.
