My game was crashing, stuttering constantly and the scars had disappeared
here's what I did
added two lines in the game properties
-ShaderSystem.ShaderQualityLevel High -GameTime.MaxSimFps 60 -GameTime.ForceSimRate 60+
this stopped the stuttering a lot and the scars are back again
the shader quality level should be the same as the mesh quality
so IE if you have mesh in ultra, change the line to -ShaderSystem.ShaderQualityLevel Ultra
also it seems that playing in windowed full screen stopped the crashing
My CPU is Intel i5 3.3 GHz
8 Gbytes RAM
Graphic Card: Invida GeForce GTX 550 Ti - Drivers version 340.52
While before the patch the game was running smoothly at medium settings, after the patch the game periodically increases the CPU load at 100% from initial 50% at game loading for few seconds, basically freezing the game.
Running in windowed mode (and reducing window size) helps with the CPU load. I hàve tried to override disable all the graphic settings from the Invidia panel, this helps as well but in the end the CPU load spikes still occurr (with less frequency).
Maybe some graphic functions are executed by the CPU instead of GPU in patch 2?

The patch has made game performance horrible on my PC. I'm getting stuck at a constant 8 FPS in combat. This is unplayable now.
Everything worked great before the patch now it's horrible.
Also is the strange hair shine a bug? Cause it looks awful

CPU i5 3.3 Ghz
8 meg ram
GTX 750 TI
running abot 3-6% pre running DAI
Watching it jump from +8% up to 90%+ CPU usage with DAI running. If I turn off everything and run only essentials plus DAI the stuttering stops.

Hmm, interesting...even before patch 2 my FPS performance was not that good and my rig is powerful enough to run DA:I well. Even Nvidia gives this game ultra settings when I optimize DA:I through Experience. And yet there has not been constant FPS readings, Haven and The Hinterlands have allways been the worst offenders. It's like I had the same problem before patch 2 that everyone is having after patch 2...And the fans of my rig are singing when I fire up DA:I.

I have a 3.6 GHz Quad core with 10 Gbyts Ram and an Invidia GeForce GTX 745. Without the game running it runs at 0-10% and with game seems to run between 23% and 38%.
Before the patch I have few graphics glitches. Now they are frequent: characters dropping from the sky, hands or other objects going through another. The hair/beards/clothing became shiny and 'plasticy' although they hadn't been. I upped the Mesh Quality from High to Ultra which helped but they're still more so than before.
