Since the introduction of Patch 2 and its Hotfix I have noticed a drastic FPS drop from 45-60 to 11-15 when looking at any area with more than a handful of NPCs. I have played around with the graphical settings for several hours now and find that switiching from Ultra to Low gives me a mere 5-7 FPS increase. I have also tried many different configurations, yet have found no real increase in performance.
Reverting back over 6 different Nvidia drivers has also made no noticeable difference.
Suggested command prompts in the shortcut have also made no noticeable difference.
Holy **bleep** this game has lost all its luster in my eyes...nothing but problems from the start. Kinda ironic, this was the first game in a long time that I paid a full price for. Usually I buy from steam because of the frequent sales, but DA:I was a game I wanted to buy even if it cost 60 euros. Well, that was a cardinal mistake of a huge kind. Even if there will be a patch that fixes this game, I don't think I can enjoy this game to the fullest anymore. No more EA games for me.
