What didn't work, deleting the patch folder or a fresh install?? I know that my most recent save would not work if I miraculously reverted the game version but I'd easily be able to catch up y'know, if I could actually play the game!
I tried deleting the patch folder, and made a new character to test the opening cutscene. It was still lacking what I had before the patch but I actually managed to watch MOST of the cutscene instead of it freezing me out for all of it. I still won't play the game with it though.
Are you doing the fresh install without Origin updates on? I'll try it too.
