I can't think why it wouldn't work, a fresh install I mean. As long as you have updates off and run Origin in offline mode. Saves won't be compatible obviously but at this rate with no official word regarding another patch/hotfix I just want to be able to play. I can't personally try it right now but please do post an update if anyone tries it!
I've tried reinstalling without auto updates & being offline. I've even not istalled my additional content and it's still jerky/freezing occasionally in cutscenes. also low framerate while fighting, running and standing still. Freezing during this too although a teeeeeny bit longer in between freezes than before. That's about it though.
I double checked my CPU again while running and all 4 units on my quad core i5 are all running at 99% still. I really don't see how this could be my PC being the problem. I have never ever had this much trouble. Not since I ran games on a laptop.
