I had GTX 770 and I made upgrade on GTX 970 and this didn´t change a think, the problem is not in GPU, it is with the game draining CPU, if I would try to play in this moment on High/Ultra details would most possibly kill my CPU and I could hope, only CPU.
I recommend people with this problem to NOT try to run this game until it's fixed. And here’s why.
I noticed I have a process related to USB 3 taking 25% of the CPU's time all the time. Don't no why it never use to. I don't use USB 3 so I disabled USB 3 in the BIOS, killed the process and ran the game. The first time I ran it for about 2 hours with no problems at all. Didn't notice any better performance for having the CPU almost maxed out in usage, and before Patch #2 game ran good. But the next day when I tried to play the game it blue screened just before it finished loading my last save and I had to “Use last known good configuration” to get windows to boot. I got lucky and didn't have any file corruption or lose of data that I've noticed. I'm not going to temp fate just to play this. And I'm not going to reinstall and have to start all over again either. So save your selves the trouble and possible computer damage and don't run the game until it's fixed. Has to be the worst update/software in history. I've never had anything crash a computer like this game is doing.

Yeah, my GPU is burning hot even from a single multiplayer match. This is not good...worst.patch.ever.

It is weird that it performes worse with all the graphical nerfing, like the draw distance issues i outline here

I dont understand what they were thinking really.

They weren't thinking. They just popped the patch out without even testing it. I'm afraid to play DA:I because it might fry my rig and no word of patch 3. And if we're lucky, patch 3 makes everyones PC explode.-.-
