Yes I have tried :-
1 - Replacing the batteries
2 - Different USB ports
3 - Drivers all up to date
4 - Unplugging EVERYTHING from other USB ports
5 - Disabling every other HID devices and etc at device manager and device & printers
6 - Repairing game through origin
7 - Disable steam overlay
8 - Tried with my different gamepads 1 by 1 but same problem.
(Yes I really do love and really want to play this game)
Nope I am not using any gaming keyboard or any other controllers or whatsoever.
It was fine before the patch, and it is STILL fine at every other games except DA:I . ☹️(
make a new folder inside of the game folder
move everything including profile files into the new folder, and try again.
it is possible that your profile files were corrupted.
also does your controller register in your device manager when you plug it in?
if not you may have a faulty usb connection on your mother board.
or the drivers were not fully or properly installed.

Just tried removing all my profile and turned off my internet so Origin doesn't sync with my saves and it's still not working.
And yes my controller is registed with my device manager. As mentioned, it is still working perfectly fine with every other games I have including other games in origin.
☹️

ok, try going here and read the very first post in this thread.
go towards the bottom of it and follow the instructions for
deleting the origin cache files.
let me know if that helps, if not I'll see about figuring this out...
also, with as frustrating as this game is getting, with all if it's bugs and glitches,
have you by chance thrown the controller at all?
or a peripheral device that was connected via usb?
also with just the keyboard and mouse plugeed in, re-enable all HID compliant devices,
also in your device manager see if there are any warning icons (yellow triangle with exclamation mark in it)
on ANY devices, or system items... (especially usb entries)

Tried cleaning the cache. Not fixed.
And nope, no conflicts or error or whatsoever in Device Manager. Tried messing with the HID still no luck. And yeah oncea again, controller is working fine for every other games.
Was browsing around the PC section of the forum and apparently I'm not the only one having this problems.
Guess I would have to hold off the game until the fixed it (if ever) or if there's a way to remove the patch.
Just hope that the dev team are aware of this bug.
