Again, thanks for the update!
But...I updated my BIOS and got a *new* error. After about ten minutes of playing, my computer completely shut down. That's something that has never happened before, and now I'm afraid to boot up the game at all. (Before it would just CTD with no error after around 20 minutes.)
My specs again, just in case someone can point to something and say "ah-ha!":
Windows 8.1
Motherboard: MSI A75MA-G55 (MS-7696)
CPU: AMD A8-3870 (quad core, 3.0 GHz)
GPU: GTX 660
RAM: 16GB DDR3
650W PSU
Edit: It looks like updating my BIOS did something wonky, because my PC is shutting off during any game I play, so it's not just DA:I. Resetting back to factory settings now.
gtx 660.
known issue with _60 series cards having a pattern of problems.
it is known that gtx 460,560, 660, 760, etc cards including Ti versions are having more difficulty
with this game than other cards.
having read through many, many posts of pc issues, and having GTX 760's in my system, I have
asked tech support about it, and they confirmed that there is a pattern of _60 series cards
having issues with the game more than other series. And was told that the studio is looking
into this, and working with nvidia to resolve it.
@Keataclysm: No worries, it was worth a try 🙂 I reset my BIOS and all is back to normal.
@middlefngrsalute: Thanks for the heads up! I guess I'll wait for the next patch/driver and cross my fingers.

Update: I was able to play for 2.5 hours tonight, which is the longest I've been able to play, by far. Surprised the hell out of me.
The things I changed:
- Reset my motherboard to factory settings (by removing the battery for a minute)
- Took some canned air to my PC's guts while I was in there (it wasn't very dusty, and my temps are all the same as before, so I doubt this had anything to do with it, but who knows!)
- Installed NVIDIA driver 347.09
- Ran "Repair Game" in Origin
- Left Origin in online mode
I'll play more tomorrow night and report back if I get the CTD again. Otherwise, I guess one of those steps magically fixed it.
