[PC] DA:O Main Menu Text Missing + Crashing

I recently re-downloaded Origins, but for the life of me I cannot get it to work. It starts up fine, but the moment I get to the main menu screen there is no text. If I try to select the new game button (or what I think is new game anyway), the game thinks for a moment, then crashes.

I'm also having trouble with the Config Utility. It keeps coming up with a VC++ runtime error and is forced to close.

Can anyone help...?

    @holger1405 Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them.
    For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at
    windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offline
    repairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag.

    @cptjukes1

    • Shut down your system.
    • Disconnect your second monitor.
    • Star your PC > Test.

    If that also don't works, post a new DxDiag please.
