[PC] Dragon Age: Origins Crashing at Cadash Thaig

Doing a replay of all the Dragon Age games before I start Veilguard. Ran into a few issues. 

1. When I went to reinstall the games my time played for Inquisition was there but both Origins and 2 said "0 hours 0 minutes played" despite having beat both games multiple times. I considered this a weird glitch but.

2. After opening Origins I found that none of my old save files existed anymore which I figure accounts for the 0 hours play time. But none of my achievements for completing the dlc were there & I wanted to have the dlc armour from Leliana's Song and Witch Hunt dlcs when I played the main campaign.

I was planning on starting a new game anyway, so I figured I'd just run through those dlc as quick as I could and then do a new Origins playthrough. I had 0 issues completing Leliana's Song, but I've tried multiple times to playthrough Witch Hunt. Unfortunately, that's where we get into the problem I'm posting about, I added the above information on the other 2 issues in case they're related but I doubt it.

3. I crash as soon as the first battle starts in Cadash Thaig. I dont experience crashes anywhere else in Witch Hunt that I've been able to reach. I experienced no crashing in Leliana's Song, and I do experience a little crashing when playing the main game but never repeatedly locking me in the same place. 

I've uninstalled and reinstalled, trying playing on multiple pcs. My game settings are at their lowest despite this being a new pc that should be able to handle a game from 2009 with no issue. I tried uninstalling all mods (i had no helmets and dog slot installed, but neither of those should have caused this issue), then did a clean install and still crash at the same place. I made a new character thinking it was a corrupted save- I crash at the same place. I verified files, still crashing. I did a clean boot after another reinstall, same crash. I tried several work arounds I found from googling this issue, and none have worked. My pc is not overclocked, my drivers are updated.

There's no crash error that comes up, it just freezes and force closes the game, then the auto save or any manual save at the start of Cadash Thaig can not be opened from the main menu. I have to manually open a different save and then load that one. There's no graphical glitches or warnings that the game is going to freeze and crash.

At this point I have no idea what to do. I contacted EA support and they said the only thing I can do is post here. I'm not sure what information might be needed beyond this to help me with this issue as I've never had to make a request like this before. If there's something you need to know that could help please let me know.
