I'm sorry to hear you're encountering this issue with DAI. The error message typically indicates a problem with the NVIDIA PhysX software, which is required by the game even if your system doesn't use NVIDIA hardware. Here are some steps you can follow that should help resolve this issue:

    1. Uninstall Existing PhysX Drivers:
      • Open the Control Panel on your computer.
      • Navigate to Programs and Features.
      • Locate any existing NVIDIA PhysX installations, select them, and choose Uninstall.
    2. Download and Install the Latest PhysX Software:
      • Visit the official NVIDIA website to download the latest PhysX system software.
      • Download NVIDIA PhysX System Software
      • Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
    3. Restart Your Computer:
      • After the installation is complete, restart your computer to apply the changes.
    4. Run the Game as Administrator:
      • Right-click on the Dragon Age: Inquisition shortcut or executable file.
      • Select Run as administrator to launch the game with elevated privileges.
    5. Verify Game Files:
      • EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
Open Steam and go to the Library.
Right-click on Dragon Age: Inquisition, select Properties, go to the Local Files tab, and click on Verify Integrity of Game Files.
If you're using a platform like EA app, or Steam, use the built-in feature to verify the integrity of the game files.
    6. Check for Windows Updates:
      • Ensure your operating system is up to date, as missing updates can sometimes cause compatibility issues.
      • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, and click on Check for updates.
    7. Disable Background Applications:
      • Some background applications, especially security software, can interfere with game execution.
      • Temporarily disable any non-essential applications and try launching the game again.
