[PC] Dragon Age Origins uses wrong sound device

@frankielavis I use three monitors that are gaming monitors and have their own built in speakers. Mine change often to those vs the desk speakers.

When you go into the sound settings on your PC, do you see under the "choose where to play" options, your TV and PC speakers?

Does your TV support running off a Wifi connection, or can you "pair" the TV to the PC?

I see both speakers in the sound settings, yes. And I don't think I can pair the devices or connect them over WiFi. I only have them connected via cable.

Can you tab out of the game and choose the TV as sound device again?

Whenever I tap out the TV is selected again but as soon as I tap back in it disconnects. I also tried removing the PC speakers as a sound device but then there's just no sound at all.

How is your TV connected to your PC? HDMI?

Please create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply. You can do that with the "Choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window. 

I too am having the exact same problem as the OP. As soon as I launch the game, it immediately changes sound from my HDMI TV to my laptop speakers. But as soon as I tab out of game it changes back but the sound isnt working for the game. As soon as I tab back into the game the sound switches using the Laptop speakers and is working again. Disabling the laptop speakers does nothign but make absolutely no usabe sound for the game. If youswitch sound devices from laptop to TV the sound still isnt working. Its defintely a glitch of some sort and i have no verifiable way of fixing it and it sucks. Cant even use my headphones either.
