[PC] Inquisition controller problems

I've tried the new drivers linked in another thread, made no difference.

The controller (Afterglow) simply won't be recognized. It works fine on any other game but when I turn on Inquisition and go to options mouse and keyboard are locked. Since I've seen a bunch of threads on this issue but few pertaining exactly to what I have--and the only answer I've seen is "grab the new driver"--I'm putting up another topic. I've played through the game once with mouse and keyboard but it was a pretty bad experience, truth be told. To replay or go through multiplayer comfortably it seems much, much better to roll with the gamepad so hopefully there'll be a fix?

EDIT: Going to leave the original message here but I found a fix in the side of one thread that helped me. Hopefully it'll help you guys, too.

Hey Guys,

After reading this article, and several others, I got my Xbox One controller working on PC with Dragon Age Inquisition. Here are a couple of things you can try.

1. Ensure the Xbox One Windows Driver is installed. I've linked to Major Nelson's blog, where you can download the official Microsoft drivers.
2. Unplug any & all peripherals including/especially Razer Gamepads such as the Tartarus, Orbweaver, and Nostromo.
3. (This is what made it work for me) Ensure that Windows see's the Xbox One controler as the ONLY gamepad/joystick. It was seeing my Razer Tartarus as a gamepad and listed it before the Xbox One controller, once that was gone a reboot of Dragon Age and the controller worked!

If you have any questions, plesae let me know.

HOWEVER, I have another problem now. The camera won't stop spinning! I've only seen it in character creation so far but it's insanely annoying and I have to hold onto the right stick to see what the sliders are doing. Because I can't control the game through any other means it can't be any additional input. Anyone else have this issue?

Okay, the camera spins endlessly now. I had to turn on the HID controller setting to make Inquisition recognize my controller but now my controller's calibration is awful and the X-axis is set all the way to 200%--meaning that my controller always acts as if the right stick were pushed all the way to the right, unless I **bleep** the stick left.
