They really should look into being able to rollback to previous versions, or just have a simple way to uninstall the patch.

These problems have been ongoing since the game launched, I don't see what they have to do with the patch?

to roll back your game to pre-patch....
go into your origin app.
click on origin, in the upper left hand corner, and select application settings
on the general tab, uncheck automatically keep my games up to date
then go to your "my games" page
right click on dragon age inquisition
and select uninstall
when you are done uninstalling the game,
use ccleaner or other disk cleaning software to make sure it cleans the $MFT free space
(this will take a while depending on how many and what size drives you have.)
once that is done restart your system, and origin.
re-install dragon age inquisition.
when it is complete it will tell you that there are updates available
DO NOT install them.
and you should be back to pre-patch condition.

I might sound stupid but what is the $MFT and how would I clean it through CCleaner? I've got CCleaner installed.

$MFT is the Microsoft File Table, it is a hidden directory/partition on the drive, but to clean it with ccleaner,
on the cleaner tab, scroll or go all the way down to the bottom of the list, under the "advanced"
section, and put a check mark next to wipe free space.
you will need to run ccleaner with admin priveledges, so right click on the short cut, go to compaitibility tab,
put a check mark in the box next to run as administrator, then click ok.
only run the wipe free space monthly...
