@aspirechan wrote:Lol understood. But no, since I updated my driver to the beta one I cannot play the game anymore, it's worse now with the game sitting happily at 6 FPS unless the game is on low with 25% resolution and then it only sits at 30 FPS. Something really broke this time.
then I would suggest 344.65, and going through the steps i mention in my original post, and do a clean, custom install, and only install the main driver and physx. uncheck the 3d, audio, and experience. and see if it is more stable for you.
Oh my gosh I could hug you, thank you SO much for all of your help. That (seems to have) fixed it! Back to 30FPS where it's supposed to be. I hesitate to say it's perminent, because honestly this game is so inconsistent it could rival the Canucks. (Hockey joke sorry)

You will still crash at some point, because of the coding in the game,
but it "should" be somewhat more stable for you. (here's to hoping!)

Thanks, that is what I will try next; once I have sorted out the family for the day (yes I do get up at 6am on a Saturday because it's the only time I get to play at the weekend)
