Thank you!
You're right.
By the way, someone in this thread said that disabling UEFI secure boot solved his problem.
Didn't solve mine though... I still can't launch the game and I already tried everything suggested in this and other threads.
I wouldnt mess around with your system anymore if I was you as its clearly the game thats at fault and no amount of messing or tweaking will fix it.
I talk from experience because Ive already completed the game via the patch that was release on launch day. I spent over 105 hour on my first playthough on ultra with MSAA turned off only and even had to use Vsync to tame my fps. In all that time I had zero game breaking issues and 2 CTDs with no warning but I expected some issues shortly after launch. Yesterday I decided to play again so I patched up (My bad) and I got though character creation and everything was ok and infact i got all the way to Hinterlands and all seemed ok but I did notice it being choppy frames wise.
I decided to use fraps as the fps loss began to increase and I was at 35 FPS. Shortly after stutters, cant use the Mini game dot to dot thingy as after I exit it lags hard for 4-5 minutes. I just cant play it and even on med settings, it lags.
I bought an SSD the other day so I decided to install the game there and also do a complete reinstall of windows 7 today on said SSD. Everyhing else is running perfectly, even BF4 runs far better than my aging install of windows 7 (2 years). Now even on SSD the game runs even worse than before. So I did a complete re-download of DA:I and nothings any better.
