As many before, I am having issues with the game freezing, or being sluggish. I expect that from time to time since my graphics card, although it meets more than minimum requirements, it is not up to recommended. I play the game on medium quality to compensate. From time to time the game will completely lock up the computer, forcing me to do a hard reset, ok, no problem. However, I am now at the point in the main story where I am entering the "Temple of Mythal" and the game will lock up on the loading screen after the courtyard cutscene. I reboot the computer go back in and every time it locks right there, so, it seems my game has come to a screeching halt, as I can go no further. In my mind I hear it screaming "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!". I do have a couple of characters, and had quit one AFTER I had successfully passed the temple mission on my first character, but, deciding to abandon the game since I felt I had rushed through the main story too rapidly and didn't want to make the mistake I've made on so many games before and just rush through to the end feeling unfulfilled that the game was too short. So, I'm wondering is my game corrupted? Or, is/are my save(s) corrupted? I don't feel it's actually, my computer, since, I DID succeed on another character. My system is running 3.6gHz AMD Phenom 2, 8gb ram, HIS ATI 6870 1gb gpu. allocated 10 gB hdd cache. I do hope that EA or Bioware read this, because I really do not want to abandon THIS character since I have systematically cleared all quests in all areas except the hidden oasis, and have taken the time to do 80% of war room operations to this point in the game. I will roll back a few hours of playtime and go to a save from about 3 days ago and redo the wastelands and see if the current save I was working on is a fail. If it is a save failure, however, that could place me back in the hinterlands since my first hard lock/reboot was way back when I was a wee baby Inquisitor entering Redcliff. /sniffle.
