Polish localization done poorly, I would like English

Hi,

Polish localization was done poorly, I would like to revert to original English texts.

Texts are not consistent with one another, there are many bugs in the texts (instead of name of the keyboard key it says something like {customleftalt] and sometimes you don't know what the item really does.

I am in translation industry for 10 years and I know how it is done. Translators work with strings, snippets of texts without context and then you have funny or nonsense localizations.

Is it possible to revert back to English if I bought game in Poland? (during installation I could only choose Russian and Polish languages). Obviously I cannot refund the game as I used the code. Maybe it is possible to get English version, keep the saves and use the serial again?

  • Hi,

I bought it in Germany and I had the option to install it in English during setup. I have an idea, though. Could you take a look if your Origin DA:I registration lists a free DLC called something like "English language pack" in the game info area?  I just checked and mine lists it and I suspect installing it makes switching the dialog language possible (or just changes it, not sure how it'd work exactly)

Not sure if it's possible with the Polish version, though.

I tried this, but I still have Polish texts.

    Any other solution?

Only polish and Russian are available from the code you used
