Hello,
I was playing in the Hinterlands and came across the quest "Playing with Fire"( PC version). I do as the letter asks, and summon "Grandfather". After defeating him, "Grandfather" just stand there, still. The quest doesn't update. I tried redoing the quest, but had the same result. I cannot continue the quest, it just asks me to kill the demon. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
My problem was this: no matter how many times ahve I circled the statue or how close, the Grandfather just wouldn't spawn. Circled with all my characters about 10-15 times 9at least). Circled close, circled far, nothing worked.
Then for some reason I did in on HORSEBACK and the ghost awakened at the first try. 3 circles, 3 seconds, worked immediately.
Folks: do it on horseback.
