Post Patch Bug: Not gaining approval w/ Varric for Red Lyrium quest

So yeah, basically after the patch I am no longer gaining approval when filling Varrics needs, did before patch but not after...c'mon gimme a break, am I supposed to wait till next year to play this ...

So, finished Varrics "Seeing Red" questline and no approval though quest was finished, in fact he said nothing when his ambitions was achieved. This is so frigging broken, Bioware refers me to here, you refer me to Bioware and you call that customer service!? There is no point in continuing to play the game when it does not work as intended
